The Minnesota Twins offseason of moves continues, with Team President Dave St. Peter stepping down from his role to take a strategic advisor role with the team.
St. Peter has been with the team since 1990, and played a key role in the Twins’ building of Target Field. St. Peter was the Twins’ 4th team president in team history. And during his time, also won the Baseball America’s Organization of the Year award twice.
And before he stepped down, St Peter also helped the Twins move from a regional provider for their games to the MLB’s controlled streaming platform, after the Diamond Sports Group recent bankruptcy.
Derek Falvey will now fill the role as the Teams President of Baseball, and Business operations going forward who served as the teams general manager in previous years. Jeremy Zoll will now take that role after being the teams assistant general manager in past years.
This all comes after the Twins owners, the Pohlads announced that they were exploring a sale of the team once the season was over. No purchase has been made yet, but the tide continues to change in the land of 10,000 lakes.
