The North Dakota State Bison ended a 10-game winning streak with a close loss to the South Dakota Coyotes on Saturday. Coyotes quarterback Aidam Bouman hit Javion Phelps for a 25-yard touchdown pass with just 12 seconds left to lift South Dakota over NDSU by one point, giving it a 29-28 win.

Despite losing the game, the Bison maintained a strong position in the FCS playoffs, as the committee named them the two seed on Sunday. With a 10-2 record on the season, NDSU will face the winner of Northern Arizona and Abilene Christian, the first round matchup that will be played this weekend.

As a two seed, NDSU will not play until December 7 at 2:00 p.m. in the second round of the postseason.
