Mission Connection ranked its top 150 Zen cities in a new study, which is meant to be a place that evokes peace. According to the study, North Dakota’s Bismarck, Fargo, and Medora made the list.
Bismarck came in 56th with its growing wellness scene, having things like yoga classes, meditation centers, and wellness spas. Fargo was rated at 82, with it having a younger population and cultural hub. Medora was rated at 85, as it supposedly serves as a peaceful spot for those who like nature, having a close distance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
The top 20 cities are all in the west part of the country. The states of Hawaii, Arizona, California, and Oregon all have three cities in the top 20.
