North Dakota’s men’s basketball team took No. 6 Alabama to the brink, losing 97-90 in Grand Forks yesterday.
The Crimson Tide’s Grant Nelson and Mark Sears both dropped 23 points. North Dakota’s Treysen Eaglestaff led all scorers with 40 points. Eaglestaff’s performance put him above 1,000 points for his college career and set a new career high.
The Hawks are back in action on Friday, as the host South Dakota Mines at 7:00 p.m.
