Jill Kringstad will be North Dakota’s news manager of business operations for the North Dakota Public Service Commission (PSC). North Dakota Governor Kelly Armstrong made the announcement, and Kringstad will fill the seat that was vacated by former commissioner Julie Fedorchak, effective immediately.
Fedorchak was elected to Congress in November and sworn in Friday to represent North Dakota in the U.S. House of Representatives. Kringstad is a native of Bismarck and has worked in government and private seats after graduating from Minnesota State University Moorhead in 2012.
The PSC is an agency with some authority of industries such as electric and gas utilities, telecommunications companies, energy plants, railroads, weight devices, pipeline safety, coal mine reclamation and more.
