On the ice, the Minnesota Wild will play the Edmonton Oilers tonight at 7:30. Star winger Kirill Kaprizov has been held out for the Wild, but Kaprizov reportedly skated on his own recently at and hopes to make a return soon after missing the last eight games.
According to reports from the Twin Cities, it is possible that Kaprizov will make a return tonight but the Wild want to make sure he’s healthy. Wild coach John Hynes did not “want to put a timeline” on Kaprizov’s return.
Both the Wild and the Oilers hold a record of 27-13 this season.
