The final eight teams in North Dakota’s Division AA met Thursday on the campus of North Dakota State University. West Fargo, Fargo Davies, Bismarck Century and Mandan were the four to win and move on to the semifinals.
West Fargo beat Dickinson 82-55 to open the quarterfinals. After, Fargo Davies beat Bismarck 80-77 in what was the closest game of the day by margin. The one loss Bismarck Century Patriots beat Fargo North 88-69. In the last game of the day, Mandan beat Grand Forks Red River 83-71.
Tomorrow’s semifinal games will be broadcast live on KSJB 600 AM, with the pregame of West Fargo and Fargo Davies starting at 6:10 p.m., and tip-off at 6:30 p.m. 20 minutes after the game ends, KSJB will carry the game between Bismarck Century and Mandan. The winners of the semifinals will play each other in the state title game at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday.
