Multiple motorcycle accidents in Fargo over the weekend killed one teenager. The North Dakota Highway Patrol says a 19-year-old Wahpeton man lost control of his motorcycle while driving on 55th Avenue South around 8:30 on Saturday night and struck a light pole. The man was treated on site and transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries. Another 19-year-old man from Wahpeton who was following the motorcycle when it crashed tried to steer around the wreck, but overturned the motorcycle he was riding. His injuries were not life-threatening according to the NDHP. The accidents are under investigation, and the NDHP says both riders were wearing helmets.
