RON JORDAN, KSJB LOCAL NEWS-
As the Fourth of July holiday approaches, the National Safety Council (NSC) wants to remind everyone to be safe if they plan on lighting off their own fireworks. Young children should never handle fireworks. Adults should closely supervise any older children that they allow to use them. Lit fireworks should never be held in your hands or near your face. Never point or throw fireworks at other people. Fireworks should be set-off away from homes or any flammable materials.
