North Dakota Continues to Recover from Drought Conditions

Day by day, North Dakota is emerging from dry and drought conditions. The latest drought monitor report shows that just over six percent of the state is now considered abnormally dry, with 2.2 percent in moderate drought. These affected areas are all in far western North Dakota. The U.S. Drought Index, which assesses soil moisture, temperature, and precipitation, is used to determine these drought conditions.
