A Jamestown woman was sentenced in federal court for her felony convictions for firearms trafficking. 47-year-old April Elizabeth Bergman received up to 100 months in federal prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Bergman was convicted following authorities finding her possessing stolen firearms from a Jamestown business in 2023. An investigation found she was trading methamphetamine for firearms that were stolen in that burglary. She pleaded guilty and will serve a minimum of 47 months behind bars after being sentenced in Fargo District Court.
