Kings Power Rankings Week 3! Buffalo Rises, Bengals Fall

By Ryan King Sep 19, 2024 | 8:05 AM

Week 2 has come and gone, and the Rankings are looking to shake up more and more as teams settle in to this years’ offenses and defenses. The best teams are trying to start shaping the mold of the leagues top tier, but we have learned through two weeks no matter the ranking and the matchup no win is guaranteed, for example Philadelphia and Atlanta on Monday night, or Baltimore in their home opener against Las Vegas.

We will see some significant rises and drops now that the season is getting into full swing, some teams are dealing with injuries that may drop them from week to week, some teams are coming out just flat, the good news is its only Week 3, and there’s still plenty of time to get things straightened out.

Buffalo, and New Orleans had significant rises for me this week, before Tua’s injury the Buffalo defense picked him off 3 times, and has been a force throughout this start of the season accompanied by MVP play from Josh Allen. New Orleans, has scored on every single drive to start their season including wins over the lowly Panthers, and an impressive routing of the Dallas Cowboys in Jerry World.

Teams seeing significant drops were the Los Angeles Rams, the Miami Dolphins, and the Cincinnati Bengals. Los Angeles is so hurt right now they will start looking like a practice squad team soon, Miami’s offense will more than likely slow down now that Tua is on the IR. Cincinnati as we have seen in previous years, has a chance to crawl out of the 0-2 whole they have created, giving them the best chance to climb back up the rankings in the weeks to come.
