A plane made an emergency landing on a Minnesota Highway on Monday.  The small, single-prop plane lost power while flying in Morrison County late Monday afternoon.  The pilot, Aaron Casper of Eden Prairie, says he was forced to make an emergency landing on the best possible spot . . . which was Highway 27 west of Pierz.   Casper executed the landing and then drove the plane into the ditch to avoid traffic.  Nobody was inured, and the plane sustained relatively minor damage.   The flight plan showed that the plane was traveling from Brainerd Lakes to Eden Prairie.
