Former Big Leaguer Pete Rose passed away yesterday at the age of 83.
Rose is Major League Baseball’s all-time leader in hits, with 4,256. Rose was a 17-time All-Star and won three World Series. He holds the MLB record for games played at 3,562, and plate appearances, with 15,890 over his 24-year career.
Rose played with the Cincinnati Reds, Philadelphia Phillies, and Montreal Expos.
