A Minnesota teenager is making national headlines after surviving a high speed crash with police. 18-year old Sam Fisher was driving a Honda Pilot when the car suddenly began accelerating without his foot on the gas.   Fisher tried to call 9-1-1 with voice commands, and when that didn’t work called his mom to alert authorities.  He says even pressing the brake the floor didn’t slow the car down, that eventually reached speeds of 120 miles-per-hours. Minnesota State Troopers called Fisher and located him, and as a last-ditch effort told him to crash into one of the patrol cars that had sped in front of him.   The collision eventually eased the car to a stop, and saved Fisher’s life.  An investigation by MSP and Honda is ongoing.
