In their first preseason game, the Minnesota Timberwolves beat the Los Angeles Lakers, 124-107. Timberwolves forward Josh Minott led all scorers with 22 points in just 29 minutes of action.
No. 8 overall draft pick Rob Dillingham made his Timberwolves debut, dropping 21 points in just over 24 minutes. Dillingham added four assists. The former Kentucky Wildcat made four 3-pointers.
The Timberwolves continue preseason action continues on October 11, when Minnesota hosts the Philadelphia 76ers. The game is scheduled to start at 6:00 p.m.
