By Patrick McColl Oct 25, 2024 | 1:11 PM

The Los Angeles Rams defeated the Minnesota Vikings Thursday night at SoFi Stadium, 30-20.

Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford tossed four touchdowns in the win, and wide receiver Puka Nacua racked up 106 yards in seven receptions. Minnesota’s Sam Darnold threw for two touchdowns, 240 yards, and he completed 18 of his 25 throws. With 1:36 on the clock in the fourth quarter, Darnold was brought down for a safety by the Rams Byron Young, but it appeared Darnold was brought down by the facemask. As there was no call, the game ended I controversy with many fans believing the Minnesota drive should have continued.

Minnesota’s next game will be against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, Nov. 3 at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:20 p.m.
